Foundation Repair Fayetteville NC wants homeowners in Fayetteville, NC, elsewhere in Cumberland County and in the nearby towns we serve to use every page and send a request on a phone, tablet or computer, whether or not they rely on assistive technology.
The standard we aim for. Our target is conformance with WCAG 2.1, the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, at level AA. Pages are plain HTML and CSS, a setup that cooperates with screen readers, keyboard-only use, zooming and enlarged text.
Steps already taken. Headings follow a clear order, so moving through a page by section works. Each image has a written description. We test the contrast of text, links and buttons against what sits behind them. Form fields all show a label you can see, and both forms can be completed and submitted from the keyboard. Common questions and their answers are printed in full on the page rather than tucked into panels. The quiz and the calculator are made of ordinary buttons and labels that assistive tools read out.
Known gaps. A few links open outside documents and public office sites. Those are run by others, who control how accessible they are.
Telling us about a barrier. When something on the site blocks you, use the contact form and open with "About the website." Tell us the page, what you set out to do and the point where it failed. If the form is what is in your way, get word to us by whatever route works and we will sort out an alternative together. Each report is reviewed, and we correct what we can.
After any major change to the site, we revisit this statement.
